What are some benefits of coaching?
The benefits of coaching are many; 80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills. Coaching helps to:
- Establish and take action toward achieving goals
- Become more self-reliant
- Gain more job and life satisfaction
- Contribute more effectively to your family, the team, and the organization
- Take greater responsibility and accountability for actions and commitments
- Work more easily and productively with others (family, spouse, boss, direct reports, peers)
- Communicate more effectively
How long are the coaching sessions? What’s required of me?
During 1:1 coaching sessions, the duration typically ranges from 45 minutes to an hour, with the initial consultation possibly lasting a bit longer. At this initial meeting, the coach will outline the coaching procedures, including the meeting structure, cancellation policies, and other relevant information.
Together, you will discuss the areas in which you could benefit from coaching. By the end of the session, you and the coach can decide if you're comfortable moving forward and set future session times and locations. These sessions can be conducted on a one-on-one basis or as part of our exclusive group coaching program called The Flip. The coach will provide an estimate of the number of sessions required to achieve your specific goals.
Your only responsibilities are to be present at the agreed-upon time and be willing to put in the necessary effort, which may include completing follow-up tasks assigned by the coach. It's important to remember that coaching is a collaborative process in which the coach serves as a guide, and the client must be present and accountable to achieve positive results.
